A man went to Africa on a tour, and decided to buy
a psent for his friend in America. But everything
was too expensive for him, just like at every tourist spot.
So he bought a broken vase that cost almost nothing.
He gave the address of his friend in America to
the shopkeeper and asked the shop to wrap the vase
and send it to that address.
He thought that his friend might think that the vase was
broken in the mail and would not blame him for being stingy.
When he got home, he received a thank-you
letter from his friend. The letter said: "Thank you very
much for the broken vase. It was very thoughtful of you
to wrap every broken piece in a sheet of paper."

一个学生回答：“如果他坐下来，他就得划船。”
6．一点不假，罚你们全体禁因为军舰上禁饮酒类饮料，所以部分好酒的士兵们便只能在
餐厅里偷偷地喝。
一天，士兵们正在喝酒，忽听到有人向餐厅走来，而且脚步声
越走越近。于是，士兵们立即把餐桌上的酒瓶都藏了起来。
“少尉你好！ ”他是分队少尉，士兵们和他打着招呼。
少尉从餐桌下面找到了酒瓶，他是见酒没命的人，拿起酒瓶就
想喝，没想到酒瓶刚送到嘴边，舰上的执勤军官走进餐厅。少尉立
即开口打破了餐厅的寂静：“一点不假，确实是酒，罚你们全体禁
闭！ ”
